Those are some severely scary words when they come out of the mouth of a 7-year old Tom-boy.
Maddie B came in the house today with both hands in the pocket of her hoodie and said "Rachel, look what I found..."
I turned around expecting to see [ok hoping to see] a cool rock or leaf or branch. At the very worst I was thinking maybe she had a stray kitten or granddaddy long legs that she found in the yard...but no...this is what I turned around to:
Those are frog eggs in a jelly ball that she pulled out of the creek by our house with her hands and then put them in her hoodie pocket!!!!!!
and just look how incredibly happy she is.
